Episode 16, Procedural Animations - Holding and carrying objects
This is the last episode!!
In this episode we are going to return to procedural animations and create a new one where the robot is holding a gift in its hands and moves at the same time.
We are going to override the shoulders bones through IK, which means no matter what animation the robot is playing, it will show both arms holding the present!
Steps
- Adding IK control on both arms
- Hook the input controller
- Create a simply pickup item for testing
- Prepare the socket and pickup spawn point
- Create a transition and carrying animation
