Episode 14 Animating a door using timeline (BP & C++)


In this episode, we are going to create a simple door which opens when the player interacts with it.

We will base our door in the Interactive Base class, which provides basic functionality when the player is stepping on the interactive.

Steps:

  1. Creating a new Door actor extending from InteractiveBase
  2. Adding an event when player interacts with the door
  3. Create a Door Blueprint
  4. Animating the door
